MR. NEIL PULIDO, Aquaculture Instructor of Dipolog School of Fisheries was among the top 10 TVET Trainers all over the country from all TVET Institutions who have demonstrated exemplary performance and demonstrated competencies beyond the expectations from a TVET trainer.
The Tagsanay Awards was aimed to recognize outstanding and exemplary performance of TVET TRAINERS and envisioned to be an annual institutional award to select the best of the trainers in different level of jurisdiction.
Candidates were evaluated based on the following criteria such as, Portfolio evaluation, Written Examination, Individual and Team Activities and Panel Interview Evaluation.
It was quite a very surprising and challenging experience and a week long process of selection where more than 100 candidates were housed and undergone varied activities from day 1 till the final day such as Trainer Competencies, Communication Skills, Exposure to Culture and Technology were among the activities, explained MR. PULIDO.
With just only .09 points difference from the Top 8 and had the 25 points bonus awarded to him for the early submission of the application, MR. NEIL PULIDO could have been qualified to face the panel of interviewers of five (5) members representatives from TESDA BOARD, PCCI, METROBANK, CSC AND DOLE and could have possible at least settled at top 3.
As the only candidate coming from Mindanao Area to be included in the top 10 and the first in the school’s history to join such contest, MR. PULIDO’s performance was above satisfactory and the school should be proud of. We are just hoping for the best to our next candidate for the next Tagasanay awarding, Mrs. Darcera, Vocational School Administrator finally concluded.
