Mrs. Maribeth Albino Fuerzas, Instructor II and TM Assessor was dubbed as the Outstanding Trainer of the School for year 2016. A Master’s Degree of Vocational Education major in Food Technology and NTTC holder, she garnered the highest score during the evaluation conducted by her peers in profession, students and supervisor. She is also the focal person in Teaching and Learning Criterion in Dipolog School of Fisheries for APACC Accreditation and served the school for more than 16 years. As an outstanding trainer, MS. FUERZAS demonstrated an excellent performance as a vocational educator and at all times, maintained a high level of professionalism in dealing with her peers.
She started her employment in a private industry in year 1993-1994 at Premium Food Service Incorporated in Manila. The highest position she acquired during was an OIC- Supervisor and was assigned in the management of all the operations of the company’s concession in the area of Metro Manila.
She widened her experience in other qualification when she was hired as a trainer in HRM at Gingoog City Computer School Incorporated in year 1994-1996 and a year later, started her teaching profession at Dipolog City Institute of Technology in Dipolog City handling higher courses in Bachelor of Science in Hotel and Restaurant Management.
In year 2000, she joined Dipolog School of Fisheries as a Trainer in short courses in Hotel and Restaurant Management and Care giving and continue to serve with all her dedication and hard work as a public servant.
On the other hand, MS. MYRNA CUIZON BUOT, an Administrative Assistant II was chosen as the Outstanding Employee after earning the highest point as evaluated by her peers and supervisor. She joined Dipolog School of Fisheries in the early 80’s as Cash Clerk a permanent position and promoted to become a Disbursement Officer. For more than 2 decades in Dipolog School of Fisheries, Ms. Buot remained steadfast in her duty and responsibility as the custodian of the school’s record and other sensitive assignment more in particular, the disbursement of the school’s cash flow.
At all times, she is very willing to do an overtime work and demonstrated a humble and modest personality of a truly public servant both inside and outside the school.
