Gamus attends CBP on HIV and Drug Abuse


With its primary aim to enhance the capabilities of Regional Focal Persons and Lead Trainers, MR. NICANOR C. GAMUS, attended the Capability Building Program of Basic STI, HIV-AIDS AND DRUG ABUSE AND CONTROL EDUCATION held at NTTA, Marikina City on November 21-25, 2016.
Representing Dipolog School of Fisheries, MR. GAMUS attended the 5-day seminar together with other Focal Persons from different Technical Institutions likewise representing their respective agencies nationwide.
Among the topics that were deliberated and discussed during the seminar includes, Rationale for STI, HIV, and AIDS Education, Development of Prototype Learning/Advocacy/IEC Materials for HIV and AIDS Education, Significant and Salient Points of Republic Act 9165 (The Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002), TESDA Circular No. 31 Series of 2016 (Institutionalizing Drug Abuse and Prevention and Post Rehabilitation Programs in Public and private TVIs
